There is a quiet tension in the Church today.

This reflection on the pre-Lenten season (Septuagesima / pre-Great Fast preparation) is a wake-up call:

Are you ready?

Lent is not about changing your diet for 40 days.
It is about changing your direction.

It is a season of truth. A season where God lovingly exposes what weighs us down — not to shame us, but to heal us.

This message challenges us to:

Stop pretending we are fine when we are not

Fast not only from food, but from judgment and indifference

Prepare consciously, humbly, and expectantly

Enter the Great Fast not with fear — but with hope

Lent is not punishment.
It is renewal.
It is not darkness — but light.
It leads us to Resurrection.
