As we approach the Great Fast, the Church gives us Meatfare Sunday — the Sunday of the Last Judgment — to awaken our hearts.
In this powerful homily, we reflect on Christ’s words in Matthew 25:
“I was hungry and you gave Me food… I was thirsty and you gave Me drink…”
The judgment is not about appearances, theological knowledge, or religious performance. It reveals the heart. Have we learned to see Christ in the poor, the weak, the inconvenient, and the forgotten?
